The Black Knight Ion Galaxy (2024 model) is a squash racquet with a traditional 500 cm² head (about 77.5 in²), a closed throat and a head-light balance. It weighs 140 g, is quite stiff (RF 92) and has control thanks to the dense 16x19 string pattern. The concave head, from 9 to 3 o'clock, creates a larger, higher sweet spot, and Power Surge technology in the handle adds extra stiffness. It suits singles and doubles.

How the RR Score was calculated

Criterion	Weight	Score
Specs	65%	62
Approval from players	35%	65

The RR Score is not yet a precise figure. It summarizes the data we have today (specs and reviews) and changes as more information comes in. A low score does not mean the racquet is bad and does not reflect its technical quality: often it is just missing data or reviews. The specs combine several sources and may have discrepancies: check the manufacturer's website and the store where you buy.
