The Tempest Wave Pro-C is the carbon version of the Tempest line, aimed at control and touch. It has a raw unidirectional PT-700 carbon fiber face for spin, a PT-07 stabilizing layer and a 14.3 mm Smart Response polymer honeycomb core that dampens short shots and helps on drives. The standard shape measures 15.9 x 8.0 inches, the weight is between 7.8 and 8.2 oz, and the handle is 5.3 inches with a 4 1/4 grip. The edge has shock-absorbing protection, and the whole paddle is made in the USA.

How the RR Score was calculated

CriterionWeightScore
Specs65%59
Approval from players35%80

The RR Score is not yet a precise figure. It summarizes the data we have today (specs and reviews) and changes as more information comes in. A low score does not mean the racquet is bad and does not reflect its technical quality: often it is just missing data or reviews. The specs combine several sources and may have discrepancies: check the manufacturer's website and the store where you buy.

Buyer reviews

Average of the ratings given at each store, weighted by how many reviews each one has.

Store ratings may reflect the store experience (shipping, service), not only the racquet.
