The Paddletek Tempest Reign is an elongated pickleball paddle with a PolyCore polymer core. It has a 12.7 mm core thickness and weighs 7.4-7.8 oz. It features the brand's exclusive ICED carbon with Perma-Spin technology, which gives longer-lasting spin than other carbon surfaces. The Tempest PolyCore core combines the advantages of carbon with a touch of power on every drive, with a higher sweet spot and extended reach for directed shots. The surface is rough, and the paddle is aimed at serious players.

How the RR Score was calculated

Criterion	Weight	Score
Specs	65%	62
Approval from players	35%	65

The RR Score is not yet a precise figure. It summarizes the data we have today (specs and reviews) and changes as more information comes in. A low score does not mean the racquet is bad and does not reflect its technical quality: often it is just missing data or reviews. The specs combine several sources and may have discrepancies: check the manufacturer's website and the store where you buy.
