The SLK Evo Control Max is the control paddle in the Evo line, aimed at players who are advancing in the sport. The T700 CarbonFusion carbon fiber face has a SpinFlex+ texture, the Rev-Control honeycomb polymer core is 16 mm and the EdgeSentry guard looks after the edge. It measures 16 x 7.85 inches, weighs 7.6 to 8.1 oz and has a 4.85-inch handle. The Max shape gives the line's largest sweet spot and the thick core holds the ball in the short game, a result that appeals to players who want consistency without paying for a top-end paddle.

How the RR Score was calculated

CriterionWeightScore
Specs65%66
Approval from players35%78

The RR Score is not yet a precise figure. It summarizes the data we have today (specs and reviews) and changes as more information comes in. A low score does not mean the racquet is bad and does not reflect its technical quality: often it is just missing data or reviews. The specs combine several sources and may have discrepancies: check the manufacturer's website and the store where you buy.

Buyer reviews

Average of the ratings given at each store, weighted by how many reviews each one has.

Store ratings may reflect the store experience (shipping, service), not only the racquet.
