The Vanguard Pro Invikta is the Vanguard with the most balanced profile between power and control. The face has four layers of raw 12K carbon, the 16 mm X5+ polypropylene honeycomb core has a foam perimeter and the edge has an EdgeSentry DuraEdge guard. The elongated shape measures 16.45 x 7.45 inches, weighs 7.8 to 8.2 oz and has a 5.5-inch handle. The foam on the edge enlarges the sweet spot and the extra carbon layers give firmness, so it attacks well without losing feel in the short game.

How the RR Score was calculated

CriterionWeightScore
Specs65%63
Approval from players35%65

The RR Score is not yet a precise figure. It summarizes the data we have today (specs and reviews) and changes as more information comes in. A low score does not mean the racquet is bad and does not reflect its technical quality: often it is just missing data or reviews. The specs combine several sources and may have discrepancies: check the manufacturer's website and the store where you buy.
